 The main objectives of the Exchange Forum will be to:

• Identify the present and future HR need of the Industry
• Understand and bring about clarity with regards to the skill sets required by the Industry
• List the present day offerings from the Institutions – and pin point the lacunae from a curriculum development point of view
• Identify regional constraints on capacity development
• Exchange of ideas between Industry and Institutions leading to relevance and marketability of the trained human resource
• Evolve a streamlined process for the offer of internships by Industry leading to live project experience for the trainees
• Evolve mechanisms for the Endorsement of curricula by Industry
• Offer a platform for networking between the Trained Human Resource Producers (Institutions) and the Geospatial Industry
