Frederique T.G. de Graaf is working as an auditor at the Netherlands Court of Audit (NCA. She is specialised in using quantitative data analysis and GIS within performance and compliance audits. Frederique de Graaf is one of the driving forces behind innovation in the NCA. She stimulates the development and use of different audit methods, like GIS and open data. She was the co-author of the article Using Geographic Information Systems to Audit Efforts to Combat Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing that won the Elmer B. Staats Award for best article in the International Journal of Government Auditing 2007-2008-2009.

Ramona van Marwijk holds an MSc in spatial planning and a PhD in social-spatial analysis. Since 2010 she works at Cadastre, where she carries out (research) projects on the land and housing market. As such she promotes the use of cadastral and geographic information in current societal issues.

Michiel Pellenbarg is responsible for de coordination of spatial research on housing and land. The dutch cadastre suppports the central and regional government on issues in de field of the housing market, spatial planning, the effects of the recent crisis in real estate, etcetera. The starting point of our services is geodata from the land registration and from other spatial registrations within de the dutch “system of basic registrations”.

Peter ter Haar is responsible for all aspects of product management and innovation, including product marketing, licensing, research, engineering, cartography and supply. He joined Ordnance Survey in November 2006 and has more then 25 years’ experience in product management and business development in the geospatial industry. Peter has worked in both the public and private sectors in GIS, location-based services (LBS) and mobile technology. His previous roles include Head of GIS at the City of Amsterdam, and senior product and technical management roles at Geodan, Autodesk® and Intergraph®. Peter has been the lead Director at Ordnance Survey for the innovation programme GeoVation and for the OS OpenData programme.
Peter is a Director of PointX, a joint venture company of Ordnance Survey and Landmark Information Group.
Jeff Peters

Jeff Peters currently serves as Director of National Government Programs for Esri (Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc.) and for the past 12 years has been a member of the Esri’s Advisory Board of Directors, playing a key role in strategic planning and corporate leadership. He works closely with various Department heads and agencies throughout the Federal Government and is responsible for Esri’s programs for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and Global partners (such as NATO and the United Nations). Mr. Peters is also responsible for the vision and strategy for geospatial technologies and solutions serving the national Government and its international operations. Mr. Peters has over 20 years experience spanning information technology, business development, strategic planning, and corporate leadership in the software industry. Prior to joining Esri, Mr. Peters was President and Founder of Mountain CAD, Inc., where he launched innovative tools and solutions using computer design and geographic information technology. Mr. Peters has a B.A. degree from University of Montana, and M.B.A. from the University of Redlands. He is a current member of the Board of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and a former member of the Board of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council.

Ir Louis Smit is manager of the department of Geo-Information at Public Works Rotterdam. He studied Geodesy at the Delft University of Technology. He began his career at Haskoning, royal dutch consulting engineers and architects in Nijmegen. He was manager of a department of about 25 employees and responsible for acquisition of Large Scale Base Maps projects. Now he is responsible for the Geo-information department of Rotterdam with more than 100 employees. The department holds many Key-Registers like Topography, Adresses and Buildings, Small scale topography, Utility Basemap with all pipes and cables, Aerial photo’s etc. He is innovative and is the driving force behind Rotterdam 3D, Open Data etc.

Drs Mark Goedhart RC is a Dutch national and spend most of his career in the international foods industry in which he held positions as VP finance Unilever Greece and VP marketing Unilever Netherlands. He studied business economics (MSc) at the Free University of Amsterdam (VU) and Sociology (MSc) at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). He currently works as independent advisor of foods businesses and as non executive board member of Geonovum. His background in both marketing and accounting explains why he feels passionate about combining citizen reports and GEO in way that makes government more transparent and more effective.

Professor Dr. Henk Scholten is professor in Spatial Informatics at the Faculty of Business Economics at the Free University in Amsterdam and Scientific Director of the SPINlab, Center for Research and Education on Spatial Information at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (http://www.spinlab.vu.nl/). Henk Scholten is co-founder and CEO of Geodan in Amsterdam. Geodan specializes in Geographical Information Systems.  Since its foundation in 1985 Geodan has grown into an independent group of companies with more than 130 employees, giving form and contents to all the aspects of the Geographical Information System (http://www.geodan.com).
